In the passenger car sector, vehicle manufacturers have been recommending the use of fuel additives for several years, especially in the event of starting problems or uneven engine running.

This general recommendation for the use of additives is now also given by motorcycle manufacturers such as BMW: "Fuel additives clean the fuel injection and the combustion area. Fuel additives should be used when refueling with low-quality fuels or for longer idle times," says an excerpt from the BMW R1300GS operator’s manual.

Motorbike 4T Bike-Additiveis particularly suitable for this purpose. It cleans the fuel injection and combustion area. It also helps to stabilise petrol and delay its aging. It also offers very good corrosion protection throughout the fuel system and has a cleaning effect. The included lubricant improver ensures long-lasting wear protection for all moving metallic components in fuel and injection systems. For optimum results, Motorbike 4T Bike-Additive should be added every third or fourth tank filling.

Another additive for cleaning the fuel injection and combustion area is Motorbike Speed Additive. It also has a combustion-accelerating agent which, in combination with the cleaned injection nozzles in the low to medium rpm range, ensures better, more powerful pulling power and thus more elasticity in the engine. The ideal addition for mountain and pass rides, also with touring equipment and/or pillion operation. Motorbike Speed Additive should be added every time you refuel if you want to achieve a sustained improvement in performance. If it's only about cleaning performance, adding it every third to fourth tank filling is sufficient.

Prevention in the event of longer downtimes

For longer idle periods of more than 3 months up to one year, we recommend adding the Motorbike Petrol Stabiliser at a dosage of 5 ml per 1 l of petrol when refueling for the last time. The additive keeps the fuel completely stable for up to a year, provides excellent protection for the entire fuel system against corrosion and counteracts the formation of verdigris. When recommissioning, e.g. after overwintering, the engines start without any fuel-related problems.

Engine oil flushing with the Motorbike Engine Flush significantly improves exhaust emissions. It is added to the engine oil at operating temperature before the oil change. While the engine is idling for 10 minutes, the additive ensures that deposits and combustion residues are dissolved, especially on piston rings. The deposits are then drained with the used oil during the oil change. As a result, the piston rings, which are now largely free, can seal considerably better against the combustion chambers. Compression and running characteristics are also improved. In addition, oil consumption is kept within tighter limits. All other components in the engine oil circuit also benefit, as the engine oil reaches the cleaned lubrication points unimpeded in an ideal quantity and can thus also counteract engine wear better.

This also helps to reduce oil ingress into combustion chambers and thus keep exhaust gas values within narrower limits.
