You will be our link to the workshop and retail level where you will create the demand for our products and visibility of our brand directly. Job brief
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to join our growing team and help us to expand our customer base. You will represent the company, provide customers with the required product information and have the ability to perform product and equipment demonstrations to convert sales. To be successful in this role you will need to earn trust with your clients, act urgently, establish new ways of finding leads, and put effort into gaining results. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with customers for repeat business. Targeting new business is a vital part of this role where you will support the Regional Sales Managers within a structured sales environment. This is an opportunity to establish and grow your career, learn our winning formula and succeed within a fast-paced sales environment. The role will be home based with extensive travel, with some weekend/evening work required attending trade shows etc., therefore flexibility will be required. Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy with Head of Sales focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new customers and their needs
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting customers’ needs and objectives
- Provide demonstrations to customers on our products and service equipment
- Have a good understanding of our market driven products and equipment
- Ability to upsell by showing customers the benefits of our products and equipment in a price driven market
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Work with a network of Regional Sales Managers to establish area support requirements
Requirements:
- Proven industry working experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or an equipment field service role
- Basic technical knowledge in the automotive industry within the lubricants and additives sector
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- The desire to learn and succeed
