Smoothing metal surfaces and reducing wear / improving emergency running properties
Depending on the outside temperature, the engine oil needs a certain amount of time to supply all metal pairings with oil. This results in considerable wear during a cold start phase.
It is therefore advisable to add our Cera Tec or Oil Additive to the oil. These additives adhere to the metal pairings and thus ensure significantly less wear in the cold start phase. In order to additionally smooth the surfaces of the metal pairings and thus further reduce friction and clogging, our high-tech Cera Tec additive also contains so-called “friction modifiers”, which are incorporated into the metal surfaces under pressure.
