Improves the function of timing chain tensioners filled with oil pressure, which can result in the reduction of timing chain noise.

Suitable for all commercial motor oils in gasoline and diesel engines with and without diesel particulate filter (DPF). Tested safe with catalytic converters and turbochargers. Can contents are sufficient for up to 6 liters motor oil. Not suitable for motorcycles with wet clutches.

Application

Contents (300 ml) sufficient to treat up to 6 liters of motor oil. The product can be added at any time. Warm up the engine after adding. To guarantee a lasting effect, use the additive after each oil change.

My 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 (312000kms and still going strong) unexpectedly developed a sticky lifter after sitting only a few months. We have had this car since June 2006 when it was purchased with 86000kms on the clock. She has always had regular oil changes and new filters at approx half the recommended interval. I was surprised, the oil was spotless as it had not long been changed. Any, started her up, added the can of Liqui Moly noise stop and only two minutes and half a kilometre later the lifter freed. Took the Jeep out and drove around 45kms...it is running like a top now. I would recommend this product. I have tried a few over my nearly 50 years of driving and servicing my own cars and motorbikes. This works a treat and it is the first product I will reach for in the future.
