Significant wear occurs in the motor when the microscopically small tips of the material surfaces break off. To counteract this, it is advisable to “smooth” these tips. 

We recommend adding our Motor Protect to the engine to ensure that such smoothing is carried out with as little wear as possible. The friction modifiers contained in the additive smooth the surfaces of the components in conjunction with the pressure, thus ensuring low-wear surface smoothing.
