Smoothing metal surfaces and reducing wear / improving emergency running properties
Depending on the outside temperature, the gear oil needs a certain amount of time to supply all metal pairings with oil. This results in considerable wear during a cold start phase.
We recommend adding our Cera Tec or Gear-Oil Additive to the oil. These additives adhere to the metal pairings and the surfaces of the transmission components and thus ensure significantly less wear in the first revolutions of the components after starting (cold start phase).
In order to additionally smooth the surfaces of the metal pairings and thus further reduce friction and wear, our high-tech additive Cera Tec contains so-called “friction modifiers”, which are incorporated into the metal surfaces under pressure.
