Protecting fuel from bacterial infestation (diesel pest)
Today's diesel fuels contain an increased proportion of biofuel. This leads to increased bacterial growth in the fuel tank, especially when the vehicle is parked for long periods (e.g. motorhomes). The fuel becomes jelly-like and can no longer be fed to the engine by the fuel pump.
To prevent this problem, we recommend adding our Anti-bacterial Diesel additive. The biocide it contains prevents the fuel from being attacked by bacteria, fungi and yeasts.
