Graphic Designer(M/F/D)

LIQUI MOLY USA is seeking a candidate to fill a new position in our marketing team as a Graphic Designer, this role is hybrid within the Irvine, CA area. Join our team and you will work with people who think positively about the future and are upbeat about life.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic graphic designer to join our team and take responsibility for managing and growing LIQUI MOLY's presence in the automotive industry through innovative graphic design and marketing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience in graphic design initiatives including shop signs, social media graphics, flyer design for product promotions and sales, and graphic products for events and tradeshows. Candidates must have a proven track record of success in graphics production and a portfolio of past creative output.

In this position, you will take an active part in the successful growth of our company. You will be responsible for coordinating efforts for our marketing department focused on graphic design for our products and brand. This role will also focus on actively supporting our marketing and sales team, organizing, designing, and developing graphics needed for furthering our presence in the market and fostering sales growth.

LIQUI MOLY is a leading manufacturer of OE-type high-quality motor oils, additives, and other lubricant products with headquarters located in Ulm, Germany. Since 1957 we have supplied the German marketplace with innovative quality oil and additive products for the automotive, powersports/marine, and industrial markets. In 1992 we began our sales effort in the United States and these past 10 years sales have grown significantly.

To continue our successful growth, we continue to expand our teams. This opportunity provides a competitive salary range of $70,000-$80,000 D.O.E. Also included are travel expense reimbursement, business iPhone, laptop computer, 401K plan, health insurance, disability insurance, paid vacation, and holidays.

* This position is a home office-based assignment with a weekly in-office presence in Irvine, CA.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
  • Proven track record of graphic product development through job history and portfolio.
  • Experience in the development of flyers for products, promotions, and sales initiatives.
  • Knowledge of graphic design initiatives for products in use at tradeshows and events, and in social media campaigns.
  • Understanding and experience in the creations of internal forms and formats for internal and external communication (i.e., newsletters, email campaigns, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of individuals.
  • Experienced with project management prioritizing organization and follow-through.
  • Skilled in a patience-led approach with creativity and insight into team and customer needs and process utilization.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Must Haves:

  • Legally able to work in the USA with no restrictions.
  • Clear a background check.
  • Have a current valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Ability to use MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and graphic design software to complete objectives.
