Soiled diesel particulate filters increase exhaust back pressure. As a result, engine performance is reduced and fuel consumption increases. The highly effective water-based combination of additives supports the cleaning of the diesel particulate filter when removed. Contaminants in the diesel particulate filter are dissolved, thus relieving you of the usual filter change, which in turn reduces operating costs.
The product meets the requirements in the Detergent Regulation with regard to biodegradability.
Application
Fill the entire contents into the inlet or outlet of the removed diesel particulate filter. Seal the inlet or outlet with a suitable object and allow the cleaner to take effect for approx. 20 min. Swivel the DPF several times during the application time. Then empty the additive from the diesel particulate filter and dispose of it properly. Then remove any dissolved dirt with a high-pressure cleaner. Warm water improves the rinsing process. After reinstallation of the particulate filter insert, the service operation or the workshop must initiate a regeneration as per the manufacturer specifications.
Attention: Must not be used in the LIQUI MOLY DPF Pressurized Tank Spray Gun (part no. 7946).
